As of April, 2009, Compassion Evangelical Hospital is only functioning as a busy outpatient clinic. The medical and pediatric wards will hopefully be completed and staffed by mid-summer 2009. The surgical wards and OR's will be built as soon as adequate funding is provided, hopefully by early 2010. While the core staffing of the clinic and the hospital will always be Guinean Christian professionals and allied health personnel, volunteer and mission-supported professional and allied health personnel who are committed Christians are needed for short term (ST – 1 week to 6 months), mid term (MT – 6 months to 2 years), and long term (LT – 2 years and longer) to assist the Guinean staff in accomplishing the mission of the hospital to share the love of Jesus in word and deed while providing patients with compassionate, high-quality medical and surgical care. Who we need:

Short Term (ST): 1 week to 6 months
Mid Term (MT): 6 months to 2 years
Long Term (LT): 2 years and longer

Assistant Construction Supervisor – 1 (ST, MT, or LT)
Construction Workers – Many (Skilled workers in carpentry, plumbing or electricity ST, MT, or LT)
Assistant Administrator - 1 (MT, LT) to assist hospital administrator Étienne Ouattara and serve as a communication liaison with the US Board and donors.
Radiology Tech – 1 (ST, MT)
Laboratory Director – 1 (Med Tech with administrative experience ST, MT, or LT)
Registered Nurses - 3 (MT or LT; minimum of 6 months if not part of a specific ST team)
Nursing instructor - 1 (MT or LT)
Doctors - 2 long term primary care doctors (IM/Peds/FP) and 1 general surgeon
Doctors - Short term physicians in almost any specialty (Surgical wards/OR not yet constructed.)
Pharmacist - 1 (ST, MT, or LT)
